Wasps and all kind of nasties.

As those of you who visit this website are aware we are having a constant battle with the Constructor over the state of the drains on both phases. Over the last two years we have been having problems and smells and investigations (after a lot of badgering on our part) proved that two of the main drains, one on phase 1 and 1 on phase 2 were wrongly constructed. This led us to question the state of the other drains on both phases and as Stinky Bathroom usual we have had no response to this from Prontosol whatsoever. Andres and Carina (yes we have two Administrators now) have been doing all they can to help with this and last Tuesday they commissioned an independent surveyor to check another two of the drains (no cost to the Community!) . The outcome is that both these drains are constructed poorly and this will lead to problems on the Urbanisation in the future. We are of course looking into this and will advise all owners of the situation as soon as we have any news.
It is fortunate for the Urbanisation that this was done this week. When the covers were lifted there were massive amounts of cockroach Roach and flies under the covers. As the drains become more used over the next few weeks these nasties will find there way into all of our homes.
We also have the wasp Beenests back again from last year and this time with a vengence. They have attached themselves to nearly every water meter cupboard on phase 2 (Under the roof tiles)
The price for this service is just under 1,000 euro (plus i.v.a.) This is for a years contract which will include the initial elimination process of cockroach, fly and the wasp nests and also three further visits to the urbanisation over the next 11 months to re-apply the treatments to prevent a reacurrance of the problem. The work is due to be carried on on Wednesday and if any owner needs further details could they please email janddservices@msn.com .
