R.E.: Contract proposals for cleaning the floor surrounding your communal pool.

Dear all,
I would like to thank everyone for allowing our company to clean and maintain the floor around your pool throughout 2007, and hope that you were satisfied with the results. We have experienced many different causes of contamination at different times of the year. In the Spring and Autumn our main problems were caused by rain fall leaving a thick layer of sand and dust on the surface, but in the Summer our main problems were littering, body fats, sun tan lotion and the tidying away of sun beds. Due to these experiences we would suggest that during the English schools summer holidays of six weeks we would clean the pool surround twice a week for this period only. We would begin our weekly cleaning regime on Thursday 20th March 2008 which is the day before Good Friday and the Easter holiday period, our last weekly clean would take place in the last week of October. As the pool isn't used in the months of November, December, January and February, cleaning will not be offered unless requested by the President. We have kept an ongoing record of the Anti Slip levels of the pool surround throughout the year and each test has given results that surpass EU Regulations, UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines and also The British HSE Minimum Standards. These results offer both peace of mind to all property owners and also prove Duty Of Care has been taken by the community as a whole. A proven track record of a safe floor is becoming more and more important for the community as you experience a higher volume of Holiday Lets and a greater need for protection against accidents and litigation. Once again I would like to thank everyone and hope that you choose to continue with our services.

Dear Anonymous

You are correct in your comments and this is still the case. This is my company but it operates through a network of franchisees, I am the franchisor. Generally all the contracts and invoicing are done through my office on behalf of the franchisees, I then pay them on receipt of payment. I work very closely with my colleagues and I will admit that because Sol Golf pool is around the corner from my house I have always helped to clean the pool and record regular floor friction tests. Please remember that I completed the anti slip treatment around the pool FREE OF CHARGE for the benefit of all at Sol Golf, which cost me personally for the materials and my own time. The price for cleaning the pool is at a reduced rate and all the floor friction tests are completed FREE OF CHARGE, normally charged at €50 a time. You are the only clients that receive these benefits and to be honest I really don't mind doing this for the benefit of all at Sol Golf.

I hope that I have answered your questions and if you are interested in a franchise give me a call.
