One of the pumps at the pool malfunctioned late on Wednesday night. Pro pools responded very quickly and were able to let Vic know what to do to prevent any more damage being done. They attended the pool early Thursday morning and are having to take the pump away for repair. They have suggested that we purchase a third pump thereby, leaving the repaired pump as a spare. This suggestion seems to make sense as we are having pump problems every year and this usually results in the pool being closed for several days.
Pro Pools are also organising a survey of the electrics at the pool to see if anything can be done to prevent pump damage in the future. If anyone has any strong objections to the purchase of the third pump could they please contact me as soon as possible as it needs to be fitted on Monday at the latest.
