Community payments post April 1st 2007

As all owners know the date for the payment of this years Community payment was from the date of the last A.G.M. in December 2006.
Many owners have waited until the last minute before penalties were applied (1st April 2007) and they have now missed the date. We have however, received many payments and it is hoped that as the account is now standing at over twenty thousand euros that the Officials may be able to put ten thousand euros into a high (or at least higher than what we get now which is 0%) interest account. The money raised from this along with the money from the collection of penalty money is going into a fund to be spent of something that the Community as a whole will benefit from. Please note that both these (the collection of penalties and the money in interest) has been achieved by the personal intervention and time by the Officials and as such it is hoped that anything purchased by them from this is seen in that context.
